The Product

I interned with Amazon Web Services on the Low-Code No-Code AI and ML UX Design team, focusing on Amazon SageMaker Canvas. This platform democratizes AI by enabling non-coders to create precise ML predictions. I contributed to two projects, with one scheduled for deployment into Canvas in August 2023.

Team Structure

As the only intern on the team this summer, I independently managed my projects while seeking feedback and input from my manager, mentor, project manager, and engineers.

Skills Utilizaed

I worked primarily with UI design in this internship, focused on creating prototypes. This required adept Figma use, including adapting to Canvas' design system and employing auto-layout and components. I also self-educated on the topic of AI/ML to create code-free impactful user experiences.
